Sheltering in Place for me is a time to explore the inward realm.  What does your inner shelter look like?  Where is that place inward where you feel safe, no matter what is happening around you and why?  Have you created a sense of inner calm in the time of Covid? How do you even get there?  That is the time to develop within you a steady core to remain calm and centered in times of upheaval and fear.  Fear and uncertainly are a fact of life but we can calm the ego to focus on the sense of connectedness that binds us all together and is a source of great strength and steadiness.  A great place to start is Soul Shifts by Barbara DeAngelis  or meditations by Deepak and Oprah, which right now are free and really helpful to center and develop calmness and inner peace.  However, any meditation and reading is good.  And if you need a break from that, I confess I’m not a huge TV person, but I have discovered Homeland and confess to have been on a bit of a binge. 😉
